steam dowload problem

ok how do i delete the steam folder it says i cannot and then when i try to redownload it it says i must exit out of it when im not on it or when its not open. it says the disk is full or right-protected and is not currently in use and it says "cannot delete FileSystem_Steam.dll: Acces is denied". plz i need help!!!!!!:sad2::sad2:

Sounds like you are running Vista and so you don't have Privileges to delete .dlls maybe?

you deleting it through Add and remove programmes?

That should get rid of it

Either that or move the folder to an external HD and delete it on another PC rofl

I dunno if that'd work...

I run vista and I can delete things, but I'm the only user here so I'm the only Admin

im running windows xp i believe its at my grandmas. i kinda have it fixed to where i can log in at the log on but thats it bcuz i cant get it to make a shortcut

As long as i'm concered u canceled the ''loading library''. That was what i did at my cousin then steam didn't work... at all. But try to reboot ur computer an re-download it. If it says ur memory is full then delete something else on remove or change progs.
