You use Xbox Live for a Xbox 360 game. You don't pay monthly for the game. You may pay monthly for Live access for all your games, but people typically go for the 12-month subscription.

Besides, it is an RTS, not an MMORPG. I don't know of any RTS games that would charge monthly.

And where is this mystical case you speak of? In Imaginationland?

In the place called "Game Stop"...

You may not of heard of this place due to lack of life and social abilities BUT it exists and is locating is shopping centers/malls. Ask your mom to start the van and take you there one day....youll love it.

and fyi, i dont give a fuck about the game, simply going by a statement made by an employee at this mythical game stop. and then reading the back of the displa case....

If you actually knew anything about Gamestop, you'd know they can be ill staffed with morons. Ask Legal; he has some experience with this.

I'd rather trust the sources from Bungie and Microsoft, you know, the people actually making.producing the game. Most of their technical info is either unreleased or TBD. The fact that it is an online Xbox 360 game means that it is to be played on Xbox Live, which does not charge extra for specific games which you have already bought.

Just choosing to ignore common sense does not make what you say true. I'd fail to see how Bungie would mention a monthly payment system for the game on a display case rather than their site (or anybody else's site for that matter)

Stop acting like an e-thug. You're not.

further displaying stupidity.

Like I said, i dont care for the game, dont see why your delaying your period by stressing over a statement i RELAYED about a game kid. Im simply stating what i was told.....and idiot or not, id listen to a game stop employee over you anyday.

Thug? lmfao. Talk about a game and im a thug. lmfao. If I send you a pic of a gun am i a convict? gtfoh.

completely true regarding gamestop... these are the same people that for 4 years have been telling me "STARCRAFT THIS YEAR D00D." I'd honestly be more likely to trust Boxxy OFF HER MEDS on game advice or a darfurian refugee at this point then some colostomy bag employee gamestop.

I seriously doubt that a company outside blizzard (which houses its own servers), that relies on a console is going to charge for use of a game. The console itself comes with a more reliable matchmaking/game set up system and it makes little to no sense to surcharge ON TOP of the charge for that. The price to the developer would be counter productive and would lose them sales.

Case in point, to this day, I will never play WOW for myself on an account for myself because I do not believe in subscription service games. Two things can come to me in subscription: pornography magazines and meals on wheels. Everything else, there just needs to be a quid pro quo exchange, and that be done.

As for the actual game, I cannot say that I've ever been a huge fan of the game past Halo 1. I played through both one and two, and they were okay, but the story line is less than enjoyable, the gameplay is repetitive, and aside from the saving grace of PVP head to head mode at reds house and CTF, there was a lack of game depth for me. Now, mind you, halo is a competent FPS, but it is NOT an RTS friendly game. What the hell are you going to do, have jeeps, tanks, those gay little one man jets and a team full of master chiefs and little puppets that talk oddly? what kind of resource structure are you going to use?

Bottom line is, anything they do is going to look like a rip off of starcraft, dawn of war, or something along those lines, and finally give the last Axe to the face of whatever dignity the developers have left after part 3 (which was a piece of shit).

Even if such a game WAS to come out, even if I was to buy an ECKSBAUWKS, I wouldnt pick it up, because my RTSing is exclusively limited to PC. I had ONE RTS that was not on PC, it was the VERY FIRST warhammer rts called shadow of the horned rat, and it was so shitty bc of the lack of reasonable controls on a console controller for ps1.

Recon And Halo wars are both going to charge you monthly to play the game?

I don't think so!

YOU FAIL, GOOD DAY SIR

No noob, you said they are not working on a game, you may have said that but if they make halo wars for PC you never know which they probably won't
