Cool stuff about the places I've lived:

 

Florida:

 

In the Civil war , students from the Florida Women's seminary college (a few guys that were there from what i understand) which made up the great grandfather of the ROTC unit there, took up arms against federal troops at the battle of natural bridge, and drove the yankee fucks away.

 

We have the highest rate of insurance casualty in the US, due to hurricanes, and public govt corruption. You can probably get cheaper rates in iraq... during a terror attack, in the bad area, than you can in FL.

 

We have some of the shittiest schools in the nation due to funding for schools largely being based on property taxes, which people can opt out of through the use of a good accountant and the purchase of a few cows and sheep. Connected to this, dade county has THE MOST corrupt school board that has ever existed... it makes Enron seem like a sunday school choir program.

 

In Miami, we USED TO HAVE sunshine and height restriction laws... then people who left new york 30 years ago after immigrating from cuba, who moved to Fl to be in a climate/environment closer to cuba, decided that Miami needed to look like NY. I actually hate going home now, bc I hate what they've done to my town. It also helps to know that despite laws preventing the removal of said restrictions without referendum, voter fraud is SO prevalent in FL, that it was pretty much just changed w/o notice, hearing, or vote.

 

In Miami, the city is essentially run by Cubans who left cuba to avoid persecution for committing inappropriate govt acts by the emerging socialist govt there at the time. Upon taking power in miami, they went right back to doing the stupid shit that almost got them executed in Cuba in the first place... my people never learn apparently, and imho, South Fl should be run by retired Jews forever.... they knew what the hell they were doing. There, I said it, get mad at me if you want.

 

FL is currently suffering a "brain drain" meaning that jobs which require education are leaving, bc the state wage structure, as well as what the companies pay in FL, is not sufficient to establish a reputable standard of living in any large city. What FL does not make you pay in income taxes, they take through "impact fees, fees, and millage tax rates" on property, which get factored into your rent, if you are a tenant rather than an owner.... great shell game you got going there guys.

 

Related to this, the state constitution actually requires expenditures and budget issues to be approved by the FL Supreme Court, bc the legislature can't do their job without somehow fucking up royally.

 

We have had more colleges pop up in the past 10 years than most other states, and sadly, half of these places are not accredited, nor do they offer useful majors.

 

Some of the HOTTEST college girls at FSU... sadly, some of the shittiest college football there.

 

Maryland:

 

Home of the indiefuck, a somewhat cute, but sadly artistically retarded female, who believes that her drawings of half centaur, half catman strumming a harp will impress a photography school in NY and get her some sort of a scholarship. When this fails, they just end up working at starbucks while going to "TESST" college for random tech skill # 6 in order to fund her camerawhore habits. She will manage to mess up a cup of black coffe/no sugar often, then tell you how much she likes the one armed monkey on your shirt, in front of your girlfriend in hopes that you may leave an educated, interesting woman in exchange for a coffee hucking tart....

 

Due to the large amount of wealth concentrated in most of maryland, and the hole of dire hell and poverty that is baltimore, and the status of the state during the civil war (basically the emo kid), Marylanders have a LOT of white guilt, and tax everything conceivable to give Quanshieeka more than enough money for her 20 bastard children to have better shoes than the average out of school lawyer or stock company worker... don't ya LOVE liberalism?

Someone decided it was a good idea to charge people who work MORE for utilities, on the basis that poor people should be able to power their 70 in flatscreens paid for by the state and be warm in winter at a much lower rate than people who actually pay for the service.

 

Washington:

There is really nothing cool here, its where congress buttfucks our wallets, and goatse's our hopes and dreams with their own brand (theres 50 brands btw) of change. Washinton is also the perfect example of why federal control of territory and police power is a horrid idea, it has the highest tax rate in the nation, but for new york, has the largest population of HIV positive people, drug and violence problems AND up until this year, handgun ownership was banned. Aside from statutes of dead white men, a few museums, and a park, this place is one long, uninterrupted mistake.
