@Legal - TBH, I give my respect to the people who's been here for a long time, but the requirement of 400 posts HAS to go. I've tried arguing about the requirements for Honorable Gamer for forums, but I never really agreed with the 400 posts, this title gave me HELL when it was first out. Imagine going to sleep, after checking out every single topic, then waking up to 5-6 pages worth of new posts the next morning.

In addition, HG title is only on the forums, there are tons of active people on the servers and with the community on vent who hardly posts on the forums and doesn't have the title, having this title doesn't prove MUCH unless it was given out and actually put as a real tag.

I honestly find it kind of funny that so many people here get so bent out of shape over the title, or the rep, or the personal messages that people leave them, without realizing that they have a delete function on the message thing, or that they are not represented by their rep, or that some people are just tards and act in that fashion, explaining their behavior in forum. That being said, I by no means believe the functions should be done away with, but that people just learn to grow a fucking skin or have some common sense... being a dick to a borderline retard online will likely get you an admin-enema, just as much as posting flamebait will likely get your beloved thread closed and views ridiculed.

 

At the same time I think that the Admins do need to act in a fashion more consistent with their rank. There are far too many pissing contests between player/admin, imho, and I think its partially bc admin selection/application is essentially a popularity contest. I read the applications of people I have actively played with, or whom I am familiar with and would oppose on basis of lack of credential/ability. I can scarcely understand how everyone and their mother comes in to toss up "I SUPPORT CUZ I NOT HAS PROBLEM" or "I'm on the fence" I mean, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ABOUT? You POST your INDECISION?!

Let me tell you in the most brutal way possible. This is my opinion, Honorable Gamers don't help the community in ANY way and Honorable Gamers promote spam on the forums. That's why it was taken off. Get off your lazy asses, and go do something instead of spamming the forums with, "rate the person's personality above you" posts.
