Hello Kitty :D! Posted February 22, 2009 Content Count: 352 Joined: 12/30/08 Status: Offline Share Posted February 22, 2009 Surface Tension: is an attractive property of the liquids caused by intermolecular forces, in which the surface of the liquid get attracted by another surface, and the molecules of the surface liquid are pulled in all directions by their neighbors molecules with equal forces, this gives as a result a net force of zero. This makes the liquid surface to work as an ellastic thin net. i thought you can do this since there's a lot you can explain from it (i did a very little explanation and i'm not even sure its 100% correct cause i don't remember that much xD) and you can do lots of examples with clips, needles, some insects, etc =P Link to comment
