Sorry, but the old ones outclass the 2nd and 3rd one easily. You never compare classics to new age crap, and your line makes it known to everyone that you're a new age bandwagon just like every other person that goes and says the Newer movies are better probably because of special effects.

 

Makes me think you're probably a fan of the new Jason movie + the Halloween remake and will say that those are better then the old movies.

 

The old ones are quite boring and image and acting was poor compare to watch we have now a days...

The acting in newer movies are better the special effect are better..the action is better..

I love the old star wars just cause I love star wars in general and because I like darth vaders character but a new one are a lot more pleasing to the eye, the ears, and more fun to watch!

I agree that it is normal that the original/older versions are better than new ones, but I thought that the new Indiana Jones film was actually comparable to the older ones, possibly not as good but I thought it was really good anyway.

No point basing opinion on stuff like graphics special effects, because unless you watch the old movie in these days you don't notice.

 

I thought Red Alert 1 was amazing when I first played it, but when I play it now I can't stand it because I'm used to better games.

The acting performance of Heath Ledger was a great performance, which would have won the oscar even if he was still alive. But i'm sorry, the people who want us to never have the joker again are just plain idiots. I have seen some so militant, they want the joker out of the comics and animated series as well. The Character is an important part of the mythology of the character and it would be the equivalent of taking Mr. Hyde out of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, taking The cowboys out of the Eagles, Giants, and Redskins schedules, or No more Red Sox/Yankee's rivalry. It does not work.

 

DC killed off Bruce Wayne at the end of Final Crisis, leaving a void in gotham that his proteges are seeking to fill. Frankly, if someone feels they can do as incredible or an even better job as the joker, let them. And my $ is on Dick Grayson as the next batman anyways.

Only reason people usually like the first versions over the new remade movies is pretty much because of that, because its the one you saw first and you were amazed at the movie, the effects and the actors when you saw it.

 

Imagine they do a remake of The Matrix in 30-40 years, with like 4D and shit, and whatever will be different in movies in 40 years. Well most of us will say "no way the original matrix was way better" and its probably gonna be because the first time we saw it we were all like "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME"

 

But the truth will be that the newer version will probably be better, but not to us that saw the original one first way back when it came out.
