My friends and I went to that one restaurant, Fernmeldeturm, before heading to our high school Prom in the Heidelberg castle :] I also go clubbing down there... a lot. Spent a total of 24 hours driving time over the weekend. -Modgers Did you see Pont du Hoc at all? It's crazy seeing all those mortar craters in the ground and destroyed bunkers. I wish the doors weren't cemented off so people could walk farther into the bunkers... that'd be neat. Are you going anywhere else? Link to comment

Are you going anywhere else? This is the closest thing we got to Point du Hoc: We saw Omaha, then Utah, and were like, ughhhhh Point du Hoc is really far away. This is pretty much point du hoc, but it's at the site of the artificial harbor that was built. -Modgers Link to comment
