My two automatic answers to this question usually are the Dell XPS 1500 series and a Macbook. Both are well balanced, do everything laptops and you can nab them both in the $900-1200 range. If you are looking for something cheaper, just say so and I'll throw some other options out there. Edited March 19, 2009 by Smallsasaurus Link to comment

darklink1133 Posted March 25, 2009 Content Count: 313 Joined: 03/14/09 Status: Offline Share Posted March 25, 2009 I'm sorry but in my opinion, I don't recommend BestBuy. I just don't like the computers the make. Some of them are refurbished. I recommend going to http://www.tigerdirect.com/ It can make a good deal. You can pick out which thing is right for you.
