Just write your congressman on a semi frequent basis, tell him things that concern you, and at the end, state that you are interested in academy appointment

im dead serious, if you build repor with him, it will make a difference in the long run. ESPECIALLY if he's a popular guy

 

QFT. My grandpa did that, just to keep it in his back pocket in case his kids / grand kids needed the appointment, and they actually became somewhat friends. That's how my dad and brother got appointed.

 

Marine Corps all the way for me! I sign up for delayed entry in about a year, hopefully I get cryptology as my MOS. I was thinking about being a sniper, but that might be too hardcore for me.

You know you don't have to be a citizen to enlist right? If you come over here, clean record, and legally, you can enlist, and in that process gain US citizenship.

 

You'd basically do everything that immigrants in this country SHOULD do to make their stay worth people's while nowadays.

Im 14, and im gonna have to my dad cant support me for college so its my only option Ill probably do the Navy or National Guard, cause I don't really feel like getting killed xD

thats messed up to say, anyone can die from something and the truth is that SOME ppl in the war right now arent dieing from the insurgents at all, only accidents. The newspaper has info on that. Right now though IED's are whats getting the troops alot.

You do realize there are Navy and National Guards where all the other troops are? Depending on your MOS, you can be stationed with a Marine company in Iraq.
