Community vs Community

 

 

What if SG members played against members from another community into like an official tournament? (another well-established/respected community like SG). It could be divided into 25 games all together over the course of a weekend? It could be divided into the Dust2, Deathrun, MG, Surf and Office (something along those lines at least). After a tally of who wins each event, the winning community can have bragging rights . It'd be great for SG because it can also be free advertisement by allowing players from other communities see the camaraderie between SG members and having them become future members as well. I know it may be a long shot but I thought it'd be kind of cool.

The main issue with these things is organisation.

Well if everyone participating agreed on a date for the event and there were like 3 main organizers from each community, given a month time to get everything set, do you think it'd be a good idea?

maybe we can controle these events to small ones, I know we get at least 2 offers a day to scrimm on the dust 2 server, i think it would be a good think to start, it doesnot need to be officioal but we can get like 20 of SG to go against the challenger.. or we can do something like regs vs members or admins vs staff.. these kind of thinks can just be every few weeks, like admins vs regs night or something like that.. i honestly think it would be fun

they are, and it would be fun to play against each other, if the regs think its an insult to play against the admins, than i must have bin mistaken,

 

also i dont think having like 40 teams would work that takes alot of organizing,, but if we just had a single night where any regs online would be assigned to one team and the honerable gamers or members or whatever group to another side..

thats not rue, many regs and honerable gamers are very good, i think we have 5 regulars in the top 10, personally i think it would be a good fight
