It's basically a massive theme park one of the biggest in the UK. Here is the link The rides, there are extremely fun, i managed to go on colossus twice, a big roller coaster which was the worlds first one to have 10 cork screws/loops. Nemesis Inferno, a hang dangled legs roller coaster which was also fun, although not as good as usual. Stealth I didn't actually go on this as it was closed, but watch the video, its pretty cool. And, the main attraction of the day, the new SAW ride that was new the Thorpe Park this year. Well, it was a 2 and a half hour que, which i was pissed but it wern't bad considering we was waiting 2 hours for colossus one time. The ride, itself is very nicely detailed, and lasts about 30 seconds. To be honest, i expected more then what it gave, and thought the drop could of been higher. But, it was very good, but i stand colossus is my all time favourite there. Who else has been to thorpe park? If you havn't, i suggest you go its great! Link to comment

Colossus was also my favourite SAW was kind of to do with it due to there being an inside bit if you do go on SAW, then try to get on the second cart (Furthest away from the ride start) because then you see a presentation from the Puppet. Daze it was really busy but if you get there in the morning it was pretty good because we got there at about 9:45 and because everyone was at the SAW ride we got on Colossus in about 20 mins but then it fills up and is stupidly busy lol. Same price, but you get to literally walk straight onto the big rides. Thats when I go to Alton Towers. Alton Towers is pretty fun, especially oblvion, always wanted to go thorpe park and on stealth ride though. Link to comment

Lux Posted April 13, 2009 Content Count: 6712 Joined: 03/06/08 Status: Offline Share Posted April 13, 2009 I've been about 8 times, and my verdict is........Thorpe Park is Boring. The first thing is waiting time. Who would go to wait 100x more time than actually being on a ride??? I went last year after my exams whilst school was still in (for most) and for Stealth there was a 2 minute wait.... Despite Stealth having a 2 minute wait, I only went on once because its ok....but its too short. Nemesis Inferno is probably the best, but again its a bit boring. Colossus......corkscrew isn't just boring, its annoying. Most of the other rides are diabolically boring and the occasional "banana" style rides just make you feel sick, which again isn't very fun. So.........it was quite fun when I was.........8, but these days I'd rather not waste my time Link to comment
