SneakySnake Posted April 14, 2009 Content Count: 1910 Joined: 08/07/08 Status: Offline Share Posted April 14, 2009 Looks like Fraps or something, it's not CS:S. Look at your processes in Task Manager. Well, turns out I had an old Fraps file from a while back when I used to play CoD:4. Deleted the file and re-booted. It's gone now, thanks for the tip Apple. /endthread maybe some program that monitors your fps or records videos has it some in game video recording programs do that (i.e) Fraps He had already solved it. It shows my Fps for some reason, however I did not have this the last time I played. Any help would be appreciated on how to get it off. I've restarted steam already and it's still there btw. ScreenShot Link That's XFIRE - you need to re-do configuring for the FPS meter etc in order to have it gone or so on.. I'm used to use the Xfire FPS meter and it was HUGE this morning when I fired up CSS.. Link to comment

Well it turns out it wasn't the fraps folder, it was actually xfire doing it. I created a forum thread on the issue and hopefully I will have it answered soon. It's probably just a 2 step thing but I'm to lazy to look it up. Edit: Yup, turns out xfire set the clock/fps overlay to default so many xfire users were having the same issues.
