From what Ive heard so far this game is all right but the aliens and the controls ruined it. Also heard you need a V12 engine on your computer to run it on max

heh or just run it in windowed, i have a 7600gt, and with the dx10 hack for most of the enhancements, i can run all the high effects except physics and post processing on med and shadows on med. everything else was fine on high. i thought it looked gorgious. granted with 800gtxs it be great, but i even as a pc website dont have the bank for those.

I got it on max, but resolution on 1280x1024. No lag.

just completed it and, wow

 

the final boss battle is massive and simply awesome

 

and the aliens are cool to fight against once you get out of the dome, inside its kinda annoying

 

only real annoying parts of the game for me were the vehicle sections

 

what did you find bad about the controls?

tbh i think i would cry if i had to play the game on low specs, the difference in graphics is substantial

it can, depends whats running the in the background. my monitor is 1680x1050 so when i full screen i can bring vid cards to their knees. its a big step up from 1280x1024 as far as FPS drop is concerned. i ran crysis at 1280x1024 without issue on the settings i listed. i could go lower resolution overall but native resolution is 1680 so anything different looks fuzzy and not as clean.
