Recording gameplay

Are there any other decent/good programs out there other than Fraps to record in-game play?

 

I'm planning on using one to record while I play Crysis, so something that won't be a resource whore would be nice, or affect my FPS cause I lag at points in Crysis. (usually towards the end of the game, those who have beat it should understand what I'm talking about)

 

I'm going to just record every mission as I play through on Delta difficulty. (I just beat Hard, if Delta gets impossible I'll just go back and beat it on Hard again)

Have you tried Hypercam?

 

If you're using the unregistered version, it will show at the top left (its a white box that says Unregistered Hypercam) but if you get a torrented version you're fine. From what I've seen, its very popular

I beat it all on Delta after beating my head against the wall many times.

 

and, yeah, I crash out on highest settings on the final level.

Fraps is annoying coz it halves your framerate when recording.

Fraps can get pretty annoying but I've used Hypercam and Fraps is a much better program for recording in-game, even if it does halve your framerate.
