In my day we didn't have membership. We had an actual bulletin board we would put sheets of notebook paper on, if you wanted to start a thread you needed to bring your own thumbtacks. AND WE LIKED IT!

and that's not all either! Sometimes this guy named Henda would come along and if you made a typo he'd hang you by your thumbs next to the board so other people wouldn't do it either!
