Coffee Crisp Posted June 15, 2009 Content Count: 4960 Joined: 06/20/07 Status: Offline Share Posted June 15, 2009 If you have an ATI card go to http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx If you have a Nvidia Card go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us If you don't know what card you have open up your start menu 1) If you have vista search dxdiag and open it 2) Your graphics card should be listed. *1) If you have XP start "run" *2) Enter dxdiag The card should be listed under the Display section Link to comment

Next time a game crashes, can you write down the error or take a screen shot of it? I'd need to see the 'Technical Details' on the error window to get an idea of what could be causing it. If not, look in the Event Viewer (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer) and under Applications, look for errors corresponding to the game in question. Double click on it and paste the contents here. Could be anything, really, but without any error information it's nigh impossible to determine what the cause is. Link to comment
