Help for school project

Hey guys I was wondering if any one new of some free programs that I can download and are easy to use

 

one that i can use to get the backround music from a song, or delete the person singing in it

I like Audacity. I use it for everything. its a little big n complicated, but its pretty easy once you learn it.

There's a way to do it with cool edit pro. I used to use that method often but it's been years.

 

Oh wait never mind, it seems you are looking for the instrumental not the vocals lol.

I know this may seem stupid or patronising, but have you tried finding the backing track of said song?

 

na good point that is probably what i will end up doing, but its not just for me, its for my whole class to use to get the instrumental for there songs, extra credit for the person that finds a program that does it and shows the class how to use it
