When I'm in game on any steam game, only about 10% of the messages I receive through the steam chat actually show up. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I often have to shift tab and look at 5+ messages that I never saw when they were actually sent.

Maybe your computer is slow at receiving the messages?

It happens all the time. But the weird part is about 10-20% of my messages actually DO show up ingame.

well you can go to settings and see what your settings are?

I sometimes get audio ques for messages but there are never any there, but if you DON'T get a que and they

 

are open when you quit your game, there is an option to change to prompt it to que if you haven't already.

I have it set to always display when I get a message so I dont know whats wrong.
