Shadowex3 Posted August 6, 2009 Content Count: 2959 Joined: 02/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted August 6, 2009 Not even close. The first few google pages of benchmarks I saw either had it barely holding steady with the more generic heatsinks and beaten by the TRUE and U12P or barely holding a bit below those two. The TRUE and U12P are still the two best heatsinks, especially when you consider that the U12P. The real question is why the hell would anyone buy an AM3 system when Intel is still faster and cheaper. Link to comment

Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and the Noctua U12p are the two best heatsinks out there in all three major categories of temp, noise, and "SONOFABITCH GO ON YOU MOTHERFUCKER" Link to comment

Jager Posted August 7, 2009 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted August 7, 2009 the tuniq tower would not fit how? as in it hits things on the motherboard? or that the kit does not include the correct mounting hardware. if it is the hardware just call sunbeam support and have them ship you the mounting hardware. if it is the motherboard, there are a few potential fixes without buying a new HSF, jsut post the model of your mobo and I will see what I can do for you.
