I can deal with them if I'm just web-browsing, but they're annoying as hell when they minimize your non-steam game.

There's really no reason to be in there other than to get events, so why be in it in the first place?

Just add all your non steam games to steam, than the pop ups just appear in alil window on the bottom right, so they dont minimize you out!
