Any rush song although they aren't classic rock they are prog rock, but i count them anyways!

Nice top 5, but in my opinion, Stairway to heaven is better than Kashmir, but both are really good songs.

I don't listen to a lot of the 'staples' of classic rock so this list might be a little weird/off the wall.

 

1. UFO - Rock Bottom(1974)

Schenker was 18 when this was recorded, and when he joined the band in '73 he didn't speak a lick of English.

Slow Ride(which I can't stand) overshadowed this song IMO.

3. Scorpions - The Sails Of Charon(1978)

I'm finding that a lot of these albums are labeled hard rock/heavy metal. I'm not so sure that some of these belong in a list like this, but I've always looked at the genre "classic rock" as being more about 'classic' than 'rock'. Roth is fantastic either way. The verses are probably my favorite rhythm guitar/drum line combination ever.

This one is tied with 'On Fire' but that's a little more metal than this one I think.
