Surf offline?

How am I able to play surf maps not on a server.

 

If so can you please tell me the settings to put in console.

go to SG's surf and open console and enter tick rate and all the other stuff.

Do I have to use the create server thing?

Or type something in console like

"play surf_lore"

 

or something like that.

 

I dont know. I tried it earlier but I couldnt surf or bhop.

I want to know how the surfers on youtube get alone and surf. It seems they arent in a public server or anything just by themselves. Can someone shine some light on this?

just make a server and pick the map from the list

ask someone who runs surf what the settings are

sv_airaccelerate 150 is just one of them..

there are a few more, sv_accelerate . .

I dont really know the rates but if you go to the server and type sv_airaccelerate get the number and then there might be a few more rates . . not sure . .

The settings for a surf server is, tick 66/100 and sv_airaccelerate 150

To get the airaccelerate just type it in console

"sv_airaccelerate 150"

To get the tickrate:

- Open steam and click on the "Games" tab.

- Right Click Counter Strike Source and press properties.

- Click on "Set Launch Options"

- Type in "-tickrate 66" for 66 tick or type in "-tickrate 100" for 100 tickrate

- Open CSS as usual

- Click "Create Server" and choose a surf map.

- Then Have fun surfing....

sv_airaccelarate is the only command needed for surf..
