Guest barackobama
Okay, since I updated NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT software update, every time I close my PC down, it resets my resolution to 1280 x 1024 every time, when it should be 1680 x 1050! So every time I have to manually change it, even when I'm on the Vista login page, my screen is all fucked up. Any ideas??? Link to comment

But i think there is a icon on the toolbar that will pop up. I would say uninstall the GT software and if it happens again, it must be your monitor Edit: Its called Intel graphic accelerator, its used to change my settings. But i also know it might be due to a install error with the OS. Because if you change the res and apply, it should stay. Edited September 1, 2009 by Metal Link to comment

Look for a tool that removes files leftover from past uninstalls (forgot the name, ask other SGers). Use the tool and restart computer. Install current drivers and restart. Should fix it. My computer has been doing this too after installing the newest drivers. Other stuff gets messed up, too. Things like "view as" and the tabs that are used to organize my files get messed up and that annoys the crap out of me. But whatever. I'm too lazy to do all that restarting and reinstalling.
