jazzy Posted September 10, 2009 Content Count: 2191 Joined: 06/28/09 Status: Offline Share Posted September 10, 2009 Lol @ people who say you need to upgrade cpu/gpu my build is a bit worse than yours and i run gta4 on high. but you could do with 4gb of ram and 64 bit of win7 to top it. Akaru Posted September 10, 2009 Content Count: 1000 Joined: 06/12/09 Status: Offline Share Posted September 10, 2009 I would say CPU or RAM. PC2-5300 is slow. You can get a set 2x 2GB set of ram running at PC2-6400 for like 50 dollars now. Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/22067-help/#findComment-256149
Widow Posted September 10, 2009 Content Count: 619 Joined: 02/09/08 Status: Offline Share Posted September 10, 2009 ..... RAM Is only thing slowing ur PC Down However that setup with $50 of new RAM could run crysis on High/Vhigh on 1680 so wtf are u upgrading for Personally id get $2 worth of SandPaper and lap ur CPU and Cooler if ur Cooler is Stock then u fail and get a OCZ Vendetta 2 or cheap and works well and doesnt need a high Pressure aftermarket fan to push air through (All tho i have one on mine). Happy OCing Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/22067-help/#findComment-256167
Shadowex3 Posted September 11, 2009 Content Count: 2959 Joined: 02/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted September 11, 2009 Terrible power supply. that should be your first priority even above performance enhancing stuff.
