I got $1000 to spent on a new gaming computer. Help highly appreciated, I would like for it to be pre-made if possible.

If you are in America and are looking for the best bang for your buck, I've been looking at this computer. Really good spec for only 650 dollars.

massive 750GB hard drive: brand? cache? also it would be nice to include an additional 80gig for your OS

Premade's obv going to be pretty bad compared to the real thing but Akaru's link seems to be the best. Replace the graphics card with something like a gtx 260/275 and power supply with a corsair 550 if possible. Either way for a premade it's pretty good.
