if u put them in the hard drive, ur screwed. if u put them in a disc, ur safe. if u saved them on the hard drive buy the disc for ur computer to fix it. if u have the it on a disc they saved all ur stuff from ur last back up OR u can use the disc to reset everything to when u first get ur computer.

Tip: Dont download anything when watching porn

you can get files off of the hard drive without booting windows, if this is all that is needed. I have easy access to the kind of things required to do this, but you may not.

Easiest way to do this is just take his hard drive out of his computer completely, as well as the cable connecting it to the motherboard.

Then,

1. Hook it up inside your computer to a second/third sata port, and hook it up to power as well (find the same kind of cable from the power supply that goes into your own hard drive)

2. Boot up your windows from your hard drive (it should do this automatically i'm pretty sure)

3. Your friend's hard drive should show up as a secondary hard drive, then its simple copy/paste to your hard drive the things that are important.

4. Since its already hooked to your computer, just boot to the windows cd/dvd and reformat/reinstall windows ON HIS HARD DRIVE. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. DONT FORMAT YOUR HARD DRIVE AND BLAME ME.

5. Copy the shit you copied back to his hard drive, send him on his way.

a tip, if you have more than 1 hdd, keepone for all you progs+OS because they can always be replaced, then you second hdd place all your music, videos documents, that you dont want to lose. for this situation, so you can install/re-install an OS without having to worry about shit like this
