N routers are better than wireless G and wireless B so...itll be for a laptop not for gaming

If the wireless card in your laptop even supports N. If not a N router is useless, unless you use it direct connections to another computer or LAN/WAN.

well the thing is, unless you've got monstrous internet, there's no need for a 802.11n router. 802.11g supports up to 54 Mbits/second. To put this into perspective, 2 MegaBytes is = only 16 Megabits.

only reason i'd suggest an N router is if you have connection problems, as the frequency of an N router is more likely to penetrate through your walls better.

Thats really why its useless....unles you live in a mansion...if you are like the average college student in a one or two bedroom your N router is useless....

One of my neighbor cant connect to my G router from the 7th floor and Im on the 4 th floor..and My other buddy plays Wow on a wireless G and it seems to be ok...N router were almost twice the price when I looked..
