About how long would it take to fully create this website and about how much do you believe it would cost? http://saylerlaw.com/ All constructive feedback is appreciated. Link to comment
Allan Posted October 8, 2009 Content Count: 378 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Share Posted October 8, 2009 How long would it take: It depends on the designer, and his/her experience with designing websites. That website is very plain, and looks very easy to design. I design gaming websites, clan websites etc. And my experience makes websites like that look very simple lol. How much it would cost: For my self, it would probably take me about 30 mins to 2 hours hours to design something like that. It really depends on what you want the website to look like, and what you want the website to do. I am also going to go on a limb and say that the site uses a custom CMS, which would cost the most in a website like that. Design - $35-$60 CMS - $150-$300 The process of how long a website takes, and how much it costs depends on a lot of things, and the person you go to to get the website designed/coded. Link to comment
BOOWY Posted October 8, 2009 Content Count: 868 Joined: 04/30/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Not horribly long, but it depends on who you get. If you're getting someone that's working full time hours on your website, I wouldn't expect it to take more than a week, two weeks tops. Someone part time can swing that in a week or two if they were really good. I'm talking about the whole kit and kaboodle by the way, all of the content and images on the site on top of the design. I know how to make websites but I don't do it professionally and I do it very rarely, only out of necessity for myself. This particular website has maybe 10 hours worth of work on it and I was kind of re-teaching myself CSS in the process(Cascading Style Sheets that is). This one happens to be my online portfolio that I'm using when I apply for jobs and thus I'm not linking the actual site. Cost, I have no clue what-so-ever.
