I think if it happens again you can reset it by changing your steam friends status to offline, then back to online

ZaN is probably just using his hacks again and they screwed up and made his Steam go weird. What did i tell you about your Speed/Aim/BHOP/Wall/Gravity/Teleport hacks? I wonder if anyone has actually managed to combine all of those hacks and just become GOD on CSS...

 

Anyway, that is strange. It has happened to me once, but i forgot how i fixed it. Try doing what Jaffa said, that is supposed to reset everything.

This happens to me with css, i just leave it for a few mins and it goes away ;s

see thats what i couldnt do, i tried to turn off steam but it said that one or more applications was running

I don't mean shut down steam, you should be able to change your steam community status from online to offline, then back again (its where you can set yourself to busy and away as well)

It's because you added it as a Short Cut, it's just random glitch. Just restart steam (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)
