Allan Posted October 16, 2009 Content Count: 378 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Share Posted October 16, 2009 If i am not mistaken, the owners have been charged with "promoting other people's infringements of copyright laws" So that is probably why it is down right now. anomo Posted October 19, 2009 Content Count: 220 Joined: 10/15/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 19, 2009 TPB is NOT down. The FOUNDERS are in jail and have a major fine, but the admins of TPB are free. Also they JUUUST moved the server to an atombunker in Netherland (like two weeks ago), so it might just be technical problems that they have had since they sett up the server. BTW this is JUST INFORMATION! i am in NO way saying that Internet pirating is ok!!! PS: and i checked, it works ^^ Link to comment

anomo Posted October 21, 2009 Content Count: 220 Joined: 10/15/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 21, 2009 The thing is that they STARTED it, and they are RESPONSIBLE for what happens in the site, but they DO NOT run it alone. There are many admins, and as i said they are still active. Just because there is a case, that wont scare away the Internet pirates! In fact it has been proven that stuff like that barely affect the DL community ;) Link to comment
Wrathek Posted October 21, 2009 Content Count: 1839 Joined: 09/28/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 21, 2009 its more safe than it ever was. its new ISP is in an atomic bomb shelter. there is no stopping internet connection or power to that place. And this ISP hosts like hacker groups and other things vastly more illegal than TPB could ever be, so they're safe in that regard. Link to comment
