Wrathek Posted October 18, 2009 Content Count: 1839 Joined: 09/28/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 18, 2009 you definitely need a new one. means there are bad capacitors on the main board. I bought on off of ebay for REAL cheap to see if i could fix it, but ended up giving up and buying a very nice one off of newegg bc none of the caps even looked damaged. As far as brands, you can't go wrong with Samsung or Hanns-G. I personally have fallen in love with Hanns-G over the past few years, and just purchased the HH221 (on newegg, just search for it) and its fantastic. Link to comment

We switched monitors with the PC downstairs and its working fine there, so I just need to find out where the drain is coming from it seems. Link to comment
