Css error

So for some reason all my favorites and history are gone, and when I try to add new favorites hl2.exe crashes.

 

Ive tried deleting cstrike and that didnt work :/

 

im running windows 7 professional 64bit

err, try deleting your clientregistry.blob file

 

it's in the first folder where steam i located

If you have problems i recommend xfire for saving your server information... even when you reformat your harddrive it keeps all the servers you saved. I have always had some problem with the steam servers list... it seams like it dose not want to save the servers on my fav. Oh well... Good luck!

Re-install the game?

I have had this problem before, I never really did problem solving on it, i just uninstalled steam, and re-installed it. What you can do is open steam, then go to your games page, and right click on the game and go to properties, and check the file integrity or w.e, lol. It will check all of your games files and check for any corrupted/missing files.

 

If that does not work, uninstall and reinstall steam.

I got some kind of error yesterday too, but it was something related to the ingame friends thing.

 

Steam must have updated something yesterday for these errors to pop up.
