I have an ATI Radeon 2400 HD Pro, and i want to be able to run Crysis like as smoothly as possible, and I have no real money limit. Suggestions? you could buy my 4870x2 or wait fore the gt300 series to come out and have a good price drop on the 5870 Link to comment

I have a small case so i have to have PCI Express 2.0 x 16 with a Low profile kit, or the card itself low profile. And i want it to be elite so as it could play Crysis or F.E.A.R on top notch graphic settings. Link to comment

The reason you're not buying the top-end card is twofold: 1. Crysis is coded terribly, half the problems are from the game and not weak hardware 2. Get a mid-range card that'll last about 2-3 years and with the money you saved you can get another one sooner than if you had bought a top of the line one that only got ~10fps more. Link to comment

It's half the card space taken away. That means the card has to be 2x as long for it to maintain it's power of it's original. So a low profile GTX265 would have to be 2x as long, theoretically. That's why it's impossible to have a low profile high end card. It's always mid range cards that go low profile. Link to comment
