I'm planning to buy this - Intel Core™ i5 Quad Processor i5-750 2,66GHz, Socket LGA1156, 8MB, Boxed - Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3, P55, Socket-1156 4xDDR3, ATX, GbLAN, 4phase power, PCI-Ex(2.0)x16 - Crucial DDR3 1333MHz 4GB KIT, CL9, Kit w/two matched DDR3 2GB, 240pin - Gainward GeForce GTX 260 896MB PhysX Is the G card compatible with the above 3? Don't worry about Hard drive, hard disk and cabinet, keyboard, mouse, monitor etc etc Edited October 26, 2009 by Omar Link to comment

It should be, since the first three is in one package. (it's an offer, wich means if you buy them seperately it wouldn't be cheaper) Link to comment

PowerColor Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 but It's PCI Express 2.1 x16 and my mobo is PCI-Ex(2.0)x16 Double you tee eff? See if you can understand Danish, but dw, it's easy since it's PC language MOBO http://www.komplett.dk/k/ki.aspx?sku=486110&view=detailed#ProductTabs G-card http://www.komplett.dk/k/ki.aspx?sku=501601&view=detailed#ProductTabs Link to comment

Only downfall is bottlenecking of the older generation PCIe slots. A 1.1 PCIe lane will bottleneck a 2.0 and 2.1 card, 2.0 PCIe lane will bottleneck a 2.1 card, and so on and so forth. But it's only theoretical. The truth is that the bottleneck is usually negligible, unless you have like a GTX295 in a 1.0 PCIe lane or something. Link to comment

ReGIONALS Posted October 27, 2009 Content Count: 1844 Joined: 07/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted October 27, 2009 G300 is the next nvidia series like GTX360 etc. its gonna be alot more expensive than the newer ati card which is 5XXX series like what your asking about once the G300 series comes out expect a nice price drop on ati cards. but if i had to say go with the 5770 or im selling my 4870x2 to try and get the new ati cards. 4870x2 has a a bit more or = power than a 5870 or two 5770's in crossfire ill sell you my 4870x2 for 300$ if you feel interested Link to comment
