Css Issue

Every time i try to open css source the error message platform error module fail to instalize comes up

this has happend ever sinse i have recently reformatted

i have reinstalled allready

Some files may be corrupt, did you reinstall CSS and Steam? or just CSS?

CTRL+ALT+DLT

 

Go to processes, look for Steam.xex, cancel process, open Steam again

 

If not, disable your ingame chat. Load CSS, close CSS, enable and it should work

I dont know, Take the Alt. : Delete steam and reinstall

right click cs:s, properties, local files, verify game cache.

I had this problem.

 

It has to do with the steam friends chat client thing.

 

You go to your steam settings and disable in-game messaging/friends chat thing, then you start up cs.

 

Once it's working again you can enable in-game friends chat thing.

If none of these work's, you could re-install Steam itself like Ngo said.
