Steamgamers website issue.

For some reason for about one and a half weeks, I could not access the steamgamers website, it wasn't just this computer, it was all of mine, even my PS3 couldn't access it.

 

For some reason, today I went to log on,(tried earlier, didn't work) and it magically lets me view the website and post on the forums.

 

Any ideas on what went wrong? I didn't do anything at all. It just came back.

It must be your internet. I never had any problems.

Alright, yeah it's weird. Every single other websites worked, except this.

But it's fixed. For now.

I think its because you own a PS3. Its overall suck factor is eating your bandwidth. But yeah i get that error too sometimes, I don't know why.

As Daze said, it was probably a DNS authentication issue. Did you try using different browsers to see if this was effecting all of them?

Yeah I switched from Firefox, to Internet Explorer, even to Safari. It wasn't my internet because I loaded every other site perfectly. I cleared cookies, and cache, deleted history. Did some other things I can't remember.

I'm not sure of the exact dates, but probably from Oct. 18- Nov.2
