That being said what keyboard to suggest is very dependant on what you want from a keyboard. If you want a billion programmable macros of regular keyboard functions logitech's gaming keyboards are for you, if you want a billion extra function keys that are more advanced than macros then a media keyboard would be better but non-programmable for the most part, if you're going to be using it for lots and lots of work/schoolwork and typing then a mechanical keyboard would trump the other two needs in terms of keeping your wrists healthy.
