well i recently got unbanned which i am extremely grateful for, and i have been banned for mic spamming before, but my question is: i'm not intending to mic spam, but am i allowed to play some funny sounds every so often? like i have one from a movie that goes: DOES HE LOOK LIKE A BITCH? and another one from "owned cs noob" that goes: OMG YOU FUCKING LOSER"

and they are both really funny so am i allowed to play them every so often? thanks in advance :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

IMO i wouldn't allow it, even though its funny it can be quite annoying. always be sure that people wont get annoyed before playing though

as crimson said. If you play it like every once every 2-5 minutes no one will care (except the most picky :( ) but if you play it like more than that many would consider it scamming. Others have higher tolerance..just ask the people your playing with :)

There are three things that will let you get away with non-music soundbytes rather than instantly provoke the wrath of the admins:

1. Brevity. If your clip is longer than "Get to the choppah!" chances are it's too long and will get annoying fast.

2. Quality. The number one mic problem in general is that when something's too loud (or your mic is too close to your mouth) or it's a shitty wav file it turns into a nasty static filled mess nobody can understand. This is also quality != quantity. Unexpected (due to rarity) soundbytes will likely be received better than constant ones, shit gets old FAST.

3. Lulz. Self explanatory.
