If it were darker and you couldn't see around corners like in Die Hard for the NES, it would be better. It lacks some serious Boxhead chaos but to be realistic the NES could never pull that off, not that I'm in favor of inheriting the processing capabilities of the NES if you wanted to make an 8-bit styled game on modern hardware.
