I love the SG servers and like alot of the players, but people like these ruin the fun and make me not wanna play on SG.

Door's over there. Don't let it hit your vagina on your way out.

Haven't really had much of a problem with any pistol manufacturers. Any caliber you're particularly interested in? Will it be for target practice, home defense or both?

mostly home defense and if i can find a nearby gun range, then occasional target shooting. im in tx, there's got to be a gun range near me! havent settled on a caliber. ive fired a beretta 9mm quite a bit but from what i hear, there are much more accurate weapons out there. maybe a .38?

For home defense I personally use an M1911 from Para Ordnance. As seen here in this link

http://www.para-usa.com/new/product_pistol.php?id=71

While technically not a true 1911 I picked it for home defense for various reasons. #1 was its double stack capabilities, increasing the number of bullets in the magazine by double. #2 was that I am not that big a fan of short barrel handguns since in a night time break they are more difficult to shoot well, have increased muzzle blast and flash, and less ballistic efficiency.

Also important is to look into the rounds that prevent over penetration. My 1911 uses .45 ACP JHP rounds. JHP rounds break up when they hit a target, reducing the risk of the bullet traveling through many walls.
