IntenseFajita Posted October 13, 2010 Content Count: 641 Joined: 08/04/09 Status: Offline Share Posted October 13, 2010 My dad tried getting a license but because of shit he did when he was a kid he needs to pay $2000 to get his police record erased. (even though what he did was necessary and wasn't even filed in the correct court) So we are pushing my mom to get a license instead. I can't get one for another 3 years so sad face. Luckily we found a nice indoor range a couple towns away. My dads "boss" was nice enough to bring us to the range and fire his .22 Ruger, 9mm 1911-ish pistol, and .357/.38 magnum. The Ruger was nice, his looked a lot like: But the magnum was one of my favorites and maybe when we do get a license that will probably be the first one i get. We then rented an AR-15 with 1 mag 28 rounds, $60 which is really not bad of a price. Link to comment

I own many many guns, and I have no need for any license to own any of them. Got my Ruger .22 back from my Grandparents. Put a Leapers red dot on it, and I love it. Didn't expect much from the sight, but it works excellently. Traded the Ruger P89dc for this a month or so ago. Got 500 rounds of ammo with it too. It's a Bersa Thunder .380. Also got my Glock 19 back from my Grandparents, but this is an older picture of it. These are just a few that I own, and I'm honestly too lazy to take pictures of the rest. I recently drove to Ohio and got all my dads guns that they had, including some that were mine. Link to comment

Unfortunately I don't own a handgun as it is very difficult to do so in NY. I suppose one day when I have 700 dollars to spend on the gun and license fee I'll get one. But for now I'm just kitting out my ar15. Link to comment
Jasper Posted January 27, 2011 Content Count: 409 Joined: 06/27/07 Status: Offline Share Posted January 27, 2011 I've always wanted an AR, just haven't ever gotten one. I almost bought one 2 months ago but I decided to wait a little longer. I don't think I'd really add anything to it other than maybe changing the rear stock, grip, and foregrip. I'm not really into all the tactical stuff that much. I'd love to put a Eotech on one, but I can't really justify the cost. Link to comment
