Dirty Sanchez Posted November 24, 2009 Content Count: 1552 Joined: 08/31/09 Status: Offline Share Posted November 24, 2009 If you run on XP, you should be fine. VIA-S3G doesn't work to well with Vista, and I don't think it's supported by 7. Link to comment https://forums.steam-gamers.net/topic/24405-quick-question-about-css/#findComment-291923

I think that's the graphics card (chipset?) that is in my machine with a Intel Celeron. If it is, then no, it is IMPOSSIBLE to run CS:S with it. You can abrely run CS1.6 with it. Shadowex3 Posted November 26, 2009 Content Count: 2959 Joined: 02/27/08 Status: Offline Share Posted November 26, 2009 It's an onboard graphics "card" with about as much power as a cellphone processor. The answer is a resounding NO, a 6600gt from 4ish years ago would be literally 5 times as good. Using onboard graphics to play games is kinda like scotchtaping a hotwheels to your ass and trying to get down the interstate at full speed.
