When i have been hacked i looked up my account on the Steamcommunity page And i found out that my account was up for sale. Make a thread on the steam support they are VERY slow you will get your account back in a week or so. They will ask you to provide proof of a purchased game by using the CD key of the game or the Credit card used to purchase the game. I also provided a SS of my steam community ID to show that they are trying to sell it. What happened to me is that he deleted all my friends and added himself which let Steam ban his ass. Hopefully he did the same to you.

P.S If you get your Account banned by the anti-cheat system they will not reverse it =(

Hope you get your account back.

He's probably only joking.

Why don't you just buy a new copy of CS:S ?

Coz people dont through $20 around like that.

.....Really?

His ACCOUNT got hacked, ever think he may have more than just CS:S??

And yea do what everyone here says, just e-mail valve (Make a new e-mail account if you really have to) explain the situation, ask if there is a way to verify yourself, and see what happens.

You first instinct when something like this happens should be to go to the developers, not the random people you know online that physically can't help you at all.

A. You were not hacked.

B. If you cant read the messages that Steam always shows about not giving out login info then good job to the phisher.

C.If you even bother to go to the Steam page it tells you how to get your account back.
