I think if a undercover admin wants to do the job, he/she will ask the others not to tell them. But most of the time a undercover admin is a admin in a server with no admins Link to comment

You're asking if an admin may be undercover ? No. He means when anomo is undercover and someone says ''anomo is undercover with the name xxxx''. In that situation, if there are the any rules against it. I think. Also, he is asking this for admin apprentices, so not for full admins. I think. Edited December 14, 2009 by P3rg3 Link to comment

Jager Posted December 14, 2009 Content Count: 1300 Joined: 06/24/07 Status: Offline Share Posted December 14, 2009 the official rule is that if an admin is undercover, and is for the purpose of demoing or catching a rule breaker, that other admins are NOT to reveal that person. Many admins choose to play with different names in order to not be bothered by random requests or bitching, as long as you don't see them use admin powers, leave them be. if you want to talk to them and ask, use admin chat. abuse of ma_admins is something we frown upon. cumulative issues lead to bad reputation, and a much reduced chance of being promoted by your peers at the minimum. If you are not wearing your tag, and are using admin powers and are not an AO or above, then you will receive a strike unless good reason is given. AO+ are exempt from this rule until otherwise noted. 5 Link to comment
