Disabled cores

the bios controls how many active cores you have running, anything in software does not physically stop the actual core working, so you shouldn't have "broken" anything, but your bios will have an option to turn on or off the cores. swap that and you should be fine.

wow everyone posted saying its broken.

its not i know how to fix it now i knew how to fix it before i realized it didnt show all the cores

 

 

and actually the way i did it was a step by step thing from the developers of the game.

 

 

even after pulling the cmos battery for 5 minutes it still didnt reset

 

and on cpuz it shows 1 core and 1 thread

So its not broken... but on the other hand its not doing what it's supposed to and nothing you've tried has fixed it?

not exactly i used the program it was made to be used

but it has a fault where you can not restore the changes.

im waiting for when my brother comes down from college cause he most likely knows how to fix this, though i will get a lot of grief from him about it.

fixed FINALLY

in the msconfig in the section general i did normal startup and it loads with all 4 cores and i can change the setting through advanced options again
