Definitely think this will hurt Brees' MVP chances as long as Manning doesn't lose a game down the stretch. Still a great QB, but if Manning continues to win games at the end for his team, this one small blemish of Brees will definitely hurt his chances. The Saints are still contenders though and this loss will likely cause the coaching staff to address key issues to the point where they are back to Super Bowl capability. Link to comment
