Voltage Posted December 26, 2009 Content Count: 624 Joined: 11/26/09 Status: Offline Share Posted December 26, 2009 Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Spybot Search & Destroy HiJackThis (download and post the log file, I can help you I've studied for HiJackThis) AVG (Full version) Norton 360 (If you're able to pay) Avast Kaspersky These are one of the best Security Programs you can have, you're supposed to have one on your computer, even If you do have more than 1 the best thing to do is don't run scans at the same time, or else your computer can crash. I suggest you download HiJackThis, and Post a log file here. It's not hard to use it's really easy, but here's a tutorial anyways: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial42.html Link to comment

SoulKeeper Posted December 26, 2009 Content Count: 2096 Joined: 07/05/08 Status: Offline Share Posted December 26, 2009 Any software with super in it is guaranteed to be shit. Do a scan with hijackthis and upload the log file to this site : http://www.hijackthis.de/ Tried this, I only had one "Nasty" thing on my computer. :/ Spybot Search and Destroy. Yeah, this seemed to pick up more infection than any of my other anti viruses. Link to comment
Bullet Wound Posted December 26, 2009 Content Count: 2390 Joined: 09/24/08 Status: Offline Share Posted December 26, 2009 http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ Yes, Microsoft made a free anti-virus. Its good, its free, its small, and it doesn't annoy me while I'm doing stuff. (Used to have AVG Free before this) Link to comment
Neji Posted December 26, 2009 Content Count: 3341 Joined: 02/28/09 Status: Offline Share Posted December 26, 2009 Dont use AVG or Avast. Those antiviruses areshit. I would recommand Nod32 + zone alarm firewall. Antiviruses like Kaspersky or BitDeffender are great but they use alot of CPU, Nod32 doesnt use alot of CPU so your computer wont lag or anything. Also you can download Malware byte's the antimalware, scan your pc every 2 weeks with malware bytes and you wont have any viruses ;) Anyproblems, PM me, I've been working with tools like Combo fix or HiJackthis for a long time =) Link to comment
