Voltage Posted December 26, 2009 Content Count: 624 Joined: 11/26/09 Status: Offline Share Posted December 26, 2009 Recently I bought a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router, I have installed everything, and everything's going great. My main Desktop computer is running fine, although I have an older dekstop-computer (XP-32bit), and I want to share the internet there aswell, but my Ethernet cable isn't too long enough to go from my room to the other computer room. What are my options? Link to comment

Itch Posted December 26, 2009 Content Count: 3440 Joined: 12/12/07 Status: Offline Share Posted December 26, 2009 Linksys is relatively inexpensive and reasonable as far as reliability. Also when it comes to support.. having both the router and the card be from the same manufacturer makes it so if you have to call support they can't just tell you to call the other company. Oh, I have Comcast Cable and I went to my local best-buy and just picked up what ever was reliable, cards do seem a bit expensive, I mind as well get a 15-20ft. ethernet cable. I thought there was some way without buying anything, but thanks for the help . Edited December 26, 2009 by Voltage Link to comment
