ati radeon 4850 idle temp 80-90C and under load 100-120C

Ok took the fucker completely out and cleaned it every way I could, with a vacuum and with those little things you use to clean ears, well now it works A LOT better. Idle temp now at 40-50C with 100% fan speed :]. I am quite pleased! Well thanks a lot for your help guys :)

 

Moral of the story:CLEAN YOUR FUCKING COMPUTER

 

I personally still think that is bad. Your card shouldn't require 100% fan to stay idle at 40-50C. It should do that at like 30-50% fan.

60% fan speed and 50C, 4850 is known to run hot tho and I have stock cooling
