Dark Side of the Moon cover album

Well The Flaming Lips made a cover version of Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, easily one of the most influential albums ever made. I've listened to a little bit, havent delved into it but from what I've read a lot of fans are dissapointed with what they did with Dark Side. Personally, I like the redone version from the songs I've heard. Its completely different from Pink Floyds version, and thats what you want from a cover, otherwise it would be boring and you'd just listen to the original.

Agreed, though some certain songs should never be covered.
